  • Clear float glass is a high-quality, smooth, and distortion-free glass that is commonly used in commercial and residential construction. It is produced by melting and refining a mixture of silica sand, soda ash, dolomite, and limestone at high temperatures. The resulting glass sheet is exceptionally clear, flat, and uniform, making it an ideal choice for applications where optical clarity is paramount, such as windows, doors, shelves and tabletops.

  • Tinted float glass is similar to clear float glass, but it has been treated with a special pigment to reduce the amount of light and heat that passes through it. The tint can be applied in a variety of colors, such as grey, bronze, blue, and green, and can be used to enhance the aesthetic appeal of a building while also reducing glare and heat gain. Tinted float glass is commonly used in building facades, skylights and windows in areas with intense sunlight.

  • Starphire® is a type of ultra-clear glass that is manufactured using a low-iron formula. The low-iron content of the glass means that it is virtually colorless, with no green or blue tint that is commonly seen in traditional clear float glass. Starphire® is ideal for applications where optical clarity is critical, such as museum displays, high-end retail stores and luxury homes.

  • Low iron glass is a type of glass that is made using a special process that removes impurities from the raw materials, resulting in a glass sheet that is exceptionally clear and free of the greenish tint that is commonly seen in regular glass. Low iron glass is commonly used in applications where the highest level of clarity is required, such as aquariums, luxury homes and high-end retail stores.

  • Obscure glass is a type of glass that has been treated to make it translucent or opaque, with varying levels of privacy and light transmission. Obscure glass can be produced in a variety of patterns, textures, and colours, and is commonly used in bathrooms, front doors and other areas where privacy is important.

  • Figured glass is a type of glass that has a decorative pattern or texture on one or both sides of the glass sheet. The pattern is created by rolling the glass sheet through a set of engraved rollers, which create a distinctive texture or design. Figured glass is commonly used in interior design applications such as partitions, cabinets and shower doors.

  • Energy-efficient glass is a type of glass that has been treated to improve its insulation properties, reducing the amount of heat that is transferred through the glass. This can help to reduce energy costs and improve the comfort of a building's occupants. Energy-efficient glass can be produced in a variety of configurations, including low-e coatings, gas-filled cavities and triple-pane glazing.

  • Laminated glass is a type of safety glass that is made by sandwiching a layer of clear or tinted polyvinyl butyral (PVB) between two or more layers of glass. The PVB layer provides strength and resilience, holding the glass together even when it is shattered. Laminated glass is commonly used in applications where safety is critical, such as automotive windshields, skylights and security windows.

  • A mirror is a sheet of glass that has been coated with a reflective material such as silver, aluminum or chrome. The reflective coating allows the glass to reflect light and images, creating a reflective surface that can be used for a variety of applications, such as decorative mirrors, bathroom mirrors and vanity mirrors.

  • Reflective glass is produced by applying metallic coatings to the surface of glass during the float glass manufacturing process. It reflects a significant portion of the light that falls on it and reduces the amount of heat that passes through it, making it a popular choice for use in buildings where energy efficiency is a concern. Reflective glass can also provide privacy by creating a one-way mirror effect, which is useful in buildings such as offices, hotels and hospitals.

  • Bulletproof glass, also known as ballistic glass, is a type of glass that is designed to resist penetration from bullets or other projectiles. It is made by laminating multiple layers of glass and polymer, and can provide protection against a range of threats, from small arms fire to explosions. Bulletproof glass is used in a variety of applications, including armored vehicles, banks and high-security buildings.

  • Fire-rated glass is a type of glass that is designed to provide fire resistance, and is typically used in doors, windows, and partitions to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. Fire-rated glass is made by laminating multiple layers of glass with an intumescent interlayer, which expands when exposed to heat, creating a barrier that blocks flames and smoke. This type of glass can also provide sound insulation, and is available in a range of styles and finishes to suit different applications.
